About us

Martin Sewell started his West Sussex-based building company following a five-year engineering apprenticeship with the global electronics brand, Phillips Research. With a strong family background in construction, there was an ideal support network in place with many vital skills being handed down from Martin’s father.

Taking care to ask incisive questions, having a professional insistence for thoroughness, great attention to detail and consistently high standards, steady growth was, and continues to be, ensured. Martin Sewell Building Company projects range from modest, domestic requirements to major design-and-build projects for a variety of private customers, a hospital, private schools, high profile architects and local authorities in and around West Sussex.
